February 25th - 26th 2026, Leibniz Institue of Photonic Technology, Jena
In corporation with Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology, the next expert workshop will take place from February 25th to 26th 2026 in Jena.
The workshop provides profound learning and discussion of efficient data management, featuring:
Talks on
Electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN)
the NFDI4Chem network
clinical data integration
data analysis providing quality assurance for data management
Networking
Hands-on session: data-analysis friendly tables
Participants are encouraged to discuss their personal experiences and challenges regarding data management, especially in the field of chemometrics. The event thus builds an ideal platform for networking and professional knowledge exchange. Talks will be presented in hybrid format, thus can be seen online as well.
Additionally, the workshop hosts the annual general assembly of the Chemometrics and Quality Assurance working group.
The program includes four topical sessions with key note speakers:
🔗NFDI4Chem: Introduction to the network by Christoph Steinbeck (FSU Jena)
Data Management and Data Integration: Insights into clinical research data management by André Scherag (University Hospital Jena)
Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs): Julian Hniopek (Leibniz-IPHT Jena)
Data Preparation and Automated Analysis: Automated quantitative and multivariate analysis of 1H NMR spectra using a Shiny web application by Martin Kaufmann (Landeslabor Berlin-Brandenburg)
If you like to present your own work related to these topics orally or via poster (any topic), please use the template provided and send the abstract as a PDF until January 30th to chemometrics-seminar@go.gdch.de indicating whether an oral presentation or poster is preferred.
