We are organizing a PhD students seminar each year. See the section PhD seminar for upcoming and previous events. The seminars give PhD students the opportunity to present their work and practice presentation and discussion abilities. The scientific program is accompanied by changing excursions and workshops. Additionally, the PhD seminar is a great opportunity for networking with the scientific community in academia and industry.

We are organizing a yearly expert workshop with changing topics, usually combined with the annual meeting of the working group. See the section Expert workshop for detailed information on upcoming events.
